Only candidates who appear in the 1st Stage CBT will get a refund of the examination fee.
Post Name & Education Qualification
For all four posts, the minimum qualification is 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. The 50% marks condition will not be insisted upon in the case of SC/ST candidates, Persons with Benchmark Disability, Ex-Servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage).
The qualification must already be possessed on the last date of submission of the online application, that is, 13.11.2026. Candidates who are awaiting the results of their final examination should not apply.
The candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from the countries specified in the notification with the intention of permanently settling in India, subject to the eligibility certificate conditions given in the notification.

Age Limit
Age limit for all posts is 18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2027. The date of birth should not be later than 01.01.2009. For the upper age limit, the date of birth should not be earlier than 02.01.1997 for UR/EWS candidates, 02.01.1994 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and 02.01.1992 for SC/ST candidates. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PwBD (UR/EWS), 13 years for PwBD (OBC-NCL) and 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), and as per rules for Ex-Servicemen.

Selection Process
The recruitment process will involve the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage CBT and Document Verification / Medical Examination. Selection will be made strictly as per merit. RRB reserves the right to conduct additional CBTs if considered necessary.
1st Stage CBT is common for all notified posts: 90 minutes duration, 100 questions of 1 mark each – General Awareness 40 questions, Mathematics 30 questions and General Intelligence and Reasoning 30 questions. There is negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer. The duration will be 120 minutes for eligible PwBD/PwD candidates using a scribe. The 1st Stage CBT is screening in nature and its normalized score will be used for shortlisting candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT. Minimum qualifying marks are UR 40%, EWS 40%, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 30%, SC 30% and ST 25%.
2nd Stage CBT will be of 90 minutes duration with 120 questions of 1 mark each – General Awareness 50 questions, Mathematics 35 questions and General Intelligence and Reasoning 35 questions.
The Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBST) for recruitment to the posts of Junior Clerk Cum Typist (Level 2) and Accounts Clerk Cum Typist (Level 2) has been dispensed with for CEN No. 07/2026. Candidates are still expected to have basic computer proficiency, including adequate typing proficiency using computers, which will be assessed after joining, and unsatisfactory performance may affect or delay confirmation or promotion.
Only one online application through the unified official RRB website is required to be submitted by a candidate, and a candidate can apply to only one RRB. Applying to more than one RRB will lead to rejection of all applications.
