SSC JE City Intimation Slip 2026 — Paper-I Exam City Slip Out

About

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC JE City Intimation Slip 2026 for the Junior Engineer Examination 2026, Paper-I. Candidates who have applied for this recruitment can now check their allotted exam city, exam date and shift through the candidate login on the SSC portal. This update is for candidates already in the recruitment process.

Please read this carefully: the city intimation slip is NOT the admit card, and it cannot be used to enter the exam hall. Its purpose is to inform candidates in advance about the city in which their Paper-I examination will be held, so that they can plan their travel. The admit card will be released separately, 2 to 3 days before each candidate’s exam date, and candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam hall.

The Junior Engineer Examination 2026 covers Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Scientific Assistant IMD posts, with JE (Telecommunication) handled separately. The total number of vacancies for the recruitment is 1,699. For context, the selection stages of this recruitment are Paper-I (Computer-Based Test), Paper-II (Computer-Based Test), Document Verification and Medical Examination. For other engineering openings, see the K-RIDE Recruitment 2026, and browse more updates in the Admit Card section and the Diploma/Engineering jobs section.
