Age Limit
- Technical Assistant: Maximum 30 years
- Senior Technician: Maximum 33 years
- Technician: Maximum 27 years (as on last date 30/10/2026)
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC-NCL 3 years, PwBD 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PwBD, 13 years for OBC PwBD), departmental candidates up to 5 years, as per Central Government rules.
Salary Details
- Technical Assistant: Pay Level-6, 7th CPC plus admissible allowances
- Senior Technician: Pay Level-4, 7th CPC plus admissible allowances
- Technician: Pay Level-3, 7th CPC plus admissible allowances
Selection Process
Screening Test ONLY for all three technical posts. The objective test has 100 questions, 100 marks and a duration of 2 hours. Negative marking is 0.25 per wrong answer; unanswered questions carry no negative marking.
- Part A – General: 20 marks (General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge & Computer Awareness, English Language & Comprehension)
- Part B – Domain Knowledge: 80 marks, as per essential qualification / trade
- Merit list is prepared solely on Screening Test marks.
- Tie-break: higher Part-B marks, then higher age.
