Age Limit
Maximum age: 45 years as on 27 November 2026 (candidates should be born on or after 28 November 1981). Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen as per Government of India rules, up to a maximum of 50 years.
Salary Details
Grade PS1 pay scale: Rs 28,000-3%-Rs 1,10,000. Total monthly emoluments are Rs 62,748 (Basic Pay Rs 28,000 + DA 59.10% Rs 16,548 + HRA 30% Rs 8,400 + Perks 35% Rs 9,800), plus NPS, CPF, Gratuity and medical benefits as per CSL rules.
Selection Process
- Phase I — Offline Objective Test (40 marks, 45 minutes): General Knowledge 5 + General English 5 + Reasoning 5 + Quantitative Aptitude 5 + Discipline 20 marks. There is no negative marking.
- Phase I — Descriptive Test (40 marks, 90 minutes): Discipline-related descriptive questions.
- Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates (at least 6 per post, in merit order) will be called for certificate verification.
- Phase II — PowerPoint Presentation (20 marks, maximum 10 minutes): Presentation on work experience.
- Minimum pass mark is 50% in each test. The final rank list is prepared on the total marks of Phase I and Phase II.
