Note: There is no community-wise reservation in this recruitment. The names of the 5 Group C (Level-2) posts are not given in the notice — the posting will be decided at the time of appointment. Age Limit

Age as on 01 January 2027: Group C (Level-2) — 18 to 30 years; Group D (Level-1) — 18 to 33 years. Age relaxation: OBC +3 years, SC/ST +5 years, PwBD +10 years (13 years for OBC candidates and 15 years for SC/ST candidates), as per the official notification and Railway Board rules.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will be paid as per the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix — Level-2 for Group C posts and Level-1 for Group D posts, plus allowances as admissible under Railway rules. The notice does not state any rupee figure for the pay, so no salary amount is given here.

Selection Process

1. Written Test (CBT / TBT): Computer Based Test / Tab Based Test for both levels.
2. Certificate Marks: Marks for Scouts & Guides certificates and participation, as per the notification.
3. Document Verification: Verification of educational, Scouts & Guides and other certificates of shortlisted candidates.

The written examination is expected in January 2027. Both the examination and document verification will be conducted in Delhi only. Final selection will be based on the written test, certificate marks and successful document verification.
