Age Limit
Maximum age as on the closing date (15 November 2026): Project Engineer — 35 years; Project Scientific Assistant — 30 years; Project Technical Assistant — 28 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
Salary Details
Consolidated monthly pay: Project Engineer — Rs. 38,500; Project Scientific Assistant — Rs. 28,600; Project Technical Assistant — Rs. 22,000. The engagement is on contract basis, initially for a period as specified in the notification, and the place of posting is Kolkata.
Selection Process
Selection will be through a written test from 22 November 2026, followed by an online interview from 27 to 30 November 2026 and a skill test for the technical posts (Project Engineer, Project Scientific Assistant and Project Technical Assistant). Shortlisted candidates may also be called for an in-person evaluation, proposed for 14 December 2026.
