Age Limit
Age 18–33 years as on 20 November 2026. Relaxations as per the notification: General women — up to 38 years; reserved-category men — up to 38 years; reserved-category women — up to 43 years; PwD — up to 45 years (cap); Ex-Servicemen — service period plus 3 years.
Salary Details
Rs. 26,000 per month fixed pay during the 5-year probation period, and thereafter Pay Level-4: Rs. 25,500–81,100 (subject to the conditions of SLP Nos. 14124/2012 and 14125/2012 as stated in the notification).
Selection Process
Single-stage MCQ examination (CBRT/OMR): Part A — 90 questions (Reasoning/Data Interpretation 30, Mathematics 30, Constitution/Current Affairs/Gujarati & English 30) + Part B — 120 technical questions = 210 questions / 210 marks, 180 minutes, with 1/4 negative marking per wrong answer and 40% qualifying marks separately in each part. Document Verification will be held for about 2 times the vacancies, followed by selection and waiting lists. Minimum physical standards and a walking test (men 25 km / women 14 km in 4 hours) apply at the appointment stage.
